Regulations for the three years B.Com, BBA, B.A, B.Sc, BCA degree courses

Part 1: Two languages allowed by the university out of which at least one shall be an Indian Language subject to the provision that, a candidate for the B.Com/BBA/B.Sc/B.A.BCA degree shall opt at least one of the languages studied for the PUC Examination.

However in the case of foreign national who have not studied Indian language the vice chancellor shall have the power to permit them to study any two language or English and additional English .

The following category of candidates is also permitted to opt for additional English in lieu of Indian language at B.Com/BBA/B.Sc/B.A.BCA courses.

  • Candidate who have passed 10+2 Examination CBSE/ISCE and have not studied any Indian language at the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from north eastern states like west Bengal, Assam , Meghalaya, Nagaland etc, and who have studied the subjects like Bengali, Assamese etc. at their qualifying examination.
  • Candidates who want to change the language to additional English giving the valid reason that the college is not offering the languages which they have studied at the qualifying examination.

Part 2: Three approved subjects of equal standard in case of BA /B.SC courses and prescribed number of papers of equal standard in case of B.Com/BBA course.
