Women Cell

Women are always at the receiving end in the Indian Society. In every sphere of life they are denied in their social, cultural, economic, legal, political & religious rights. College being a knowledge hub has within itself the responsibility of creating social sensitivity and awareness among students. Keeping in the view of the Vision, Mission and values of our college, we have instituted the Women Empowerment Cell called ‘Sthree Shakthi’. It aims at intellectual and social uplift of the women students. The cell stands for facilitating women empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programmes, inter class competitions and other welfare activities.

To empower women in all spheres of life enabling them to become agents of social and economic change and inculcating ethical values for the betterment of self, family and society.

Mission

To train women to acquire wide range of skills and knowledge, to develop and increase their social, economic and intellectual capacities for peace, security and prosperity of mankind.
