The Library plays an important role in an educational institution as it functions as the information centre for knowledge about different cultures, societies and economies. The resources and services attempt to generate a love for learning and education. It helps initiate new ideas and perspectives that help create an innovative society. It also helps ensure to preserve an authentic record of knowledge for future generation.

At St Anne’s First Grade College for Women students are encouraged to use the library in order to extend their knowledge to various spheres related to their academics. The students are allotted an hour in the time table in order to utilize the facility at college. The college library has books related to subjects as well as various fictional books that aid students in developing a pleasure for reading.
